Pest Threat Assessment
Mosquito
Besides being a nuisance, mosquitos are known vectors for numerous diseases including malaria, yellow fever, encephalitis, West Nile virus, heartworm, and many others. Mosquitos breed extensively where there is standing water found including birdbaths, old tires, buckets, and empty flowerpots.

Bed Bug
Bed bugs are small, brown bugs that generally come out at night in search of a blood meal. While not known to be disease carriers, some people are sensitive to their bites, experiencing swelling and itching.
